A culturally grounded digital companion for Native American communities — connecting elders and youth with legal, medical, educational, and cultural resources.
Green Mansions Foundation is developing a digital assistant platform for Native American communities, presented through a virtual guide designed in the likeness of tribal elders — warm, familiar, and welcoming to elders and young people alike.
Reductions in funding for key tribal programs have left growing gaps in essential services, especially in remote areas. The Digital Companion helps bridge them:
A warm, culturally sensitive interface that welcomes every generation.
Clear guidance on tribal, federal, and state frameworks, treaty rights, and documentation.
Culturally contextualized health guidance, care navigation, and trauma-informed support.
Language learning, oral histories, and traditional ecological knowledge, kept alive and shared.
Interactive, culturally grounded learning — from homework help through college and scholarship guidance.
Dedicated resources for protecting children and youth, including MMIWG emergency protocols, family case-management tools, and mental health support.
The Voices of the Ancestors Digital Companion is in development, with initial funding secured for the prototype phase. We’re actively engaging with tribal partners for testing, refinement, and implementation planning.
If you represent a tribal nation interested in participating, we would welcome the conversation.
